ラマダ バイ ウィンダム ハンコック ウォーターフロント(Ramada by Wyndham Hancock Waterfront)

This motel would appear "on paper" to be one of the best two or three places in Houghton or Hancock. I hope not. Location is pretty great right beneath the bridge, but they haven't done much the leverage it or make the property frontage attractive. This extends inside into a dated if reasonably nice interior. Pool may be nice but was due for cleaning in the morning; so, I didn't use it. River view from the comfortable, dated room was its redeeming feature although we couldn't see the bridge due to obstruction from another part of the building. Bathroom was nice but dated with old school tub/shower unit. Continental breakfast in meat and potatoes country.

The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating, they kindly changed our room to first floor, which had been booked through a service. Many times motels won't do that when you don't book direct as the best rooms are reserved for guests paying full price. The room was clean and an array of toiletry items were provided. One thing I would have liked is if there would have been a selection of different degrees of softness wth the pillows. The breakfast was adequate with some choices for gluten free, like boiled eggs, yogurt, fresh fruit. It was snowing and blowing when we arrived and I was a little concerned about how the condition of the parking lot would be as we were leaving before sunrise. It was plowed out early and all we had to do was clean off the car and go. Also, the entrance to the rooms was through the lobby which to me is very convenient. I would be happy to stay at this motel the next time I am in the area.

A good option for the Houghton/Hancock area. Clean and quiet. All the staff I encountered was friendly and very helpful. The pool and hottub area was clean, well stocked with towels and had late hours which I appreciated.

The hotel has declined in the last 4 years. Stained carpets. Free breakfast ran out of food before it closed. No bar. Hotel appearances are run down

The overall property was nice. I was very unhappy when we found out that the room we had rented did not have a kitchen. It said on the website that it had a kitchen. It was a microwave and a refrigerator with extra counter space. Also the pictures of the room were misleading making it appear there could have been a full kitchen. Very disappointed in this aspect. The rest of the hotel was nice.

Be aware that there is no elevator if youre booked for the 2nd floor. Room was clean & comfortable. Nice stay overall.

This is a very nice hotel in a great location. They allowed us to park our car in their lot for an additional week while we traveled to Isle Royale. We will return to this hotel on our next trip.

Right behind the famous bridge, experience of sunset and sunrise on the bridge is very nice

Nice place. Good views, easy parking. Put a recycling bin in the dining area so that single use plastics may be recycled. An elevator would be very helpful. Over all. It was a good stay. Thanks
